Professor Emerita Nancy Roberts

Nancy Roberts, who retired and became professor emerita in late 2015, began teaching at Lesley University in 1975. In 1979, she founded the graduate program in Technology in Education, to introduce the use of computers to K-12 students and teachers. She was involved in a dozen National Science Foundation and U.S. Department of Education grants as principal investigator, as well as in a statewide Title II initiative to improve teacher education through collaboration with urban schools and communities.

She is one of the founders of the New Teacher Community at Lesley, which which gives support to new teachers in the form of workshops, consultations, and mini-grants.
