Marcia Mishley

Business and Support Services Instructor, Work World Instructor, Advisor, and Supervisor, Threshold Program

Marcia is a Business and Support Services Instructor, Work World Instructor, Advisor, and Supervisor for the Threshold Program. She has been a Threshold faculty member for over 25 years, teaching vocational courses in business and support services to both first- and second-year students. At Lesley, she teaches the following courses: Business Services 1, Business Services 2, Independent Study, and Work World 2.

She emphasizes practical training for personal skills and career preparation in customer service, retail, basic business, office procedures and computers. She also concentrates on students’ interpersonal and communication skills, along with working both independently and in teams. 

Marcia holds a BS from Salem State College, a M.Ed. from Framingham State College, and an Advanced Secretarial Certificate from Katharine Gibbs School.
