David Hartranft

David Hartranft has over 20 years of successful application of counseling, teaching, and program development within the education, military, and firefighting industries. David is currently employed as a training specialist - management analyst for the department of defense.

Prior to working with the department of defense, he worked as a school counselor in a public high school for over 16 years. He also served 11 years in the United States Navy in various duty assignments. In his last assignment, he served as a master training specialist where he instructed, assessed, and implemented several programs of study at the Officer Training Command, Newport, RI. He was honorably discharged in August of 2000. David's counseling and research interests lie primarily in academic self-efficacy, ecological systems theory, and technology integration.
