Bill teaches Design Senior Seminar, a senior-level undergraduate course that encompasses many facets of the professional practice of design. The course includes career development, personal branding, marketing, project management, financial management, contracts, and other business aspects of design. He is heavily involved with Boston's design communities, and has been an independent marketing strategist and business advisor for more than 20 years, consulting with many design firms and design-savvy companies. He holds a Bachelors of Business Administration from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

His recent clients include: Alphabetica, Communication via Design, Continuum, Fidelity Labs, Korn Design, Moth, and what!design.
