Student and Alumni Profiles
LCB students come from all walks of life, represent a wide range of ages, interests and goals. Ages of LCB students range from 22 to 65; majors range from Computer Science and Management to Wellness, Women's Studies and Fine Arts. Students live as close as North Andover and Cambridge and as far away as California, Texas, Florida, Montana and Wisconsin. International students come from countries such as Bermuda, Curacao, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Ghana and Israel. What they all have in common is a desire to continue or begin their educational journey, a need to do it "their way," and a commitment to learning.
Student Profiles
Zeynab Omar, September/March cycle, Intercultural Studies major, Charlestown, MA
"The LCB program gave me the chance to complete most of my studies at home. Since I am a working mother of two children, both under three years old, this program is especially helpful. Furthermore, the program allows me to incorporate my past work/volunteer experiences and study in health and international issues towards my degree."

Betty Pickering, September/March cycle, Creative Writing Major, Maine
"The Lesley LCB program opened a bright, new world for me and provided an opportunity to fulfill a dream that had been "on hold" for nearly 50 years! I began my studies with no college experience. Now, nearly two years later, I can already glimpse the completion of my studies on the horizon. Along with that vision is the prospect of reaching my enduring goal of becoming a writer."

George Terzis, October/April cycle, Music Education major, Newport, Rhode Island
"At LCB I've been as much a part of my own learning process as the professors themselves. It's been a way for me to fuse the intellectual, emotional, and spiritual into my life by studying subjects that are important to me."

Thomas Donohue, May 2001 graduate, B.S. in Management
"The Lesley LCB program provided me with the opportunity to earn my degree while working in a fast-paced occupation that required me to put in 50 plus hours/week and travel. The program provided me with a light at the end of the tunnel as far as earning my degree was concerned."
Delphina "Nellie" Provost, May 2000 graduate, B.A. in Holistic/Wellness Studies
"The realization of earning my college degree through the LCB program even at my age is beyond words for me. The LCB was an incredible learning experience. It has given me the courage to continue my education."

Donna Shea, May 2001 graduate, B.S. in Behavioral Science
