Young Artist Scholarship Program (YAP)

The Art Institute of Boston has established the YAP program to provide access to AIB's extensive Pre-College courses for talented, urban high school students with significant financial need. The program provides full tuition and fees. Interested students should contact the Director of Programs, at 617.585.6724. Students must submit artwork, art teacher recommendation, and parental income tax returns. Scholarships are funded by: The Ralph Bradley Prizes, The Associated Grant Makers Summer Fund, The Clayton F. and Ruth L. Hawkridge Foundation, and the Fuller Foundations.

Tuition-only Scholarships for Credit Courses
Winter Application Deadline: January 15, 2013
A limited number of tuition-only scholarships are available on a financial need basis. These scholarships do not cover material or registration fees ($75). To apply, send in a completed registration form, a check or money order for $75, along with a copy of all parental 1040 income tax returns for 2012.
Exclusive Benefit for YAR Program Alumni
Students who successfully complete the YAR Program, and also plan to apply for undergraduate admission at AIB or Lesley's College of Liberal Arts and Professional Studies, are eligible to enroll in one Online Portfolio Preparation Class during the fall, winter, or summer session. As a service to YAR alums, AIB will wave the tuition ($100) and technology fee ($25) for the Online Portfolio Prep courses. YAR Alumni pay only $30 to register.
