Applicants are required to include a non-refundable $35.00 application fee when they apply to the Young Artist Residency Program. The cost for the program is $4,300 and includes tuition, art supplies, room, meals, activities, and transportation to and from classes and events. Photography students must bring their own SLR 35mm cameras and/or SLR digital cameras.
Upon acceptance, students will be asked to send a $250 deposit to the Office of Extended Programs. Students are registered for the courses of their choice after the $250 program deposit is received so that their places are reserved (courses fill up). Once students are registered, the students' account is created.
Payment
It is important that payments be made directly to the Student Accounts Office. The Student Accounts Office emails your preferred email account on a monthly basis, providing you with due date and student account activity information. Payment for the program must be made in full by June 15, 2013. A late fee of $100 is charged to student accounts not paid in full by June 15, 2013 and monthly thereafter to any outstanding balance. See the Student Accounts Office website for more information.
Students have the option of submitting payments online through the Lesley Online Information System (LOIS). By logging into LOIS and selecting the "pay my bill" option, students can submit payments online at any time. Be sure to view your preferred email account often to ensure you are receiving up to date information on your student account.
Payment plans can be arranged in advance through the Student Accounts Office. The Student Accounts staff can also recommend helpful private loan information, which is applicable to the YAR program.
