The College of Art and Design offers online portfolio development courses in four-week workshops throughout the year in the winter, summer, and fall. Get tips and feedback to help you refine your portfolio prior to the admissions process.
You will work one-to-one with faculty to develop individually focused and discipline-specific portfolios. Students can live anywhere in the world and have a productive dialog with an expert faculty member and fellow students.Each workshop includes assignments based on your major interest, online resources, individual critiques, and interaction with other students as well as professional faculty.

Exclusive Benefit for Young Artist Residency (YAR) Program Alumni: Students who successfully complete the program, and also plan to apply for undergraduate admission at the College of Art and Design or the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, are eligible to enroll in one Online Portfolio Preparation Class during the fall, winter, or summer session. As a service to alums, the College of Art and Design will wave the tuition ($100) and technology fee ($25) for the Online Portfolio Prep courses and they only pay $30 to register.
