Dental Insurance
Lesley University does not offer a student dental plan. However, there is a Dental Savings Program included in the Student Accident and Sickness Plan.
The Dental Savings Program is an exclusive plan for students enrolled in the Student Accident and Sickness Plan. The program was developed by Basix, LLC to provide students access to general and specialty dental care from a select network of local dentists. The providers in this network have met strict requirements for credentialing and quality assurance and have agreed to accept negotiated prices for the services they provide. Students will be responsible for paying for services they receive at the time of the visit. Student will generally save 50% off charges for a wide range of dental services - from routine cleanings to root canals. Because this is not an insurance plan, there are no claim forms, annual maximums, benefit limitations, and condition or other plan provisions. Students can log on to www.basixstudent.com to locate participating dental providers and the fee schedule.
If you would prefer a dental insurance plan, the Boston University School of Dental Medicine offers a Student Dental Plan to Lesley University students. This plan includes low-cost, high-quality care for students' basic dental needs such as cleanings and fillings. For more information on the Student Dental Plan please visit http://dentalschool.bu.edu.
