Important Fall Dates
Students may waive or accept health insurance through their LOIS account for the fall semester from July 16 through the end of the add/drop period (September 18). Students that do not waive the health insurance, pay their balance in full, or have their balance covered by financial aid by August 15 will be assessed late fees. After September 18, the online waiver will no longer be available and students must petition to waive or add health insurance directly through Gallagher Koster Insurance at www.gallagherkoster.com. Petitions are available from September 19 through October 5. After October 5, students may no longer waive their health insurance enrollment.
The 2012-2013 annual health insurance rates are as follows:
- Undergraduate: $1,551.00
- Graduate: $2,235.00
Students who waive or accept health insurance for the fall semester will not need to repeat the process for the spring semester.
Important Spring Dates
Students must waive or accept health insurance through their LOIS account for the spring semester from December 16 through the end of the add/drop period (February 4). Students that do not waive the health insurance, pay their balance in full, or have their balance covered by financial aid by January 15 will be assessed late payment fees. After the February 4 deadline, students must petition to waive or add health insurance directly through Gallagher Koster at www.gallagherkoster.com. Petitions are available from February 5–February 18. After February 18, no changes to health insurance enrollment will be allowed.
The 2013 spring semester health insurance rates are as follows:
- Undergraduate: $1,048.00
- Graduate: $1,504.00
