The Center for Reading Recovery and Literacy Collaborative is a national leader in literacy research, professional development, and comprehensive school programs for grades PreK-8. Its programs are consistently linked to student achievement.
The Center for Special Education is dedicated to understanding and promoting the successful teaching of learners with disabilities. It offers information, research, and resources for students, teachers, families, school systems, and policy makers.
The Center for Mathematics Achievement assists teachers in honing and deepening mathematics content knowledge. It provides professional development at summer district sites as well as workshops throughout the year, degree programs, and consultation with schools and districts concerning professional development and curriculum.
The Program Evaluation and Research Group offers program evaluation services in a variety of educational contexts. They also conduct original research and offer professional development and consultation.
Reggio Emilia at Lesley

The Graduate School of Education also offers learning opportunities inspired by the Reggio Emilia Approach, which focuses on fostering relationships among children, teachers, parents, and community. Created in Italy after World War II, it features hands-on, minds-on explorations of materials and media. Go to our
