The Graduate School of Education offers each student an advising team that will ensure academic success.
At Lesley, the advising relationship is a significant element of the teaching and learning process, within which students refine their academic objectives, identify program requirements, and develop career directions. Each student has access to an advising team consisting of a professional academic advisor and a faculty mentor. See detailed information about advisor-advisee responsibilities.
Professional academic advisors are responsible for the coordination of program requirements and student services, and are assigned upon admission. If you are in an on-campus program, you should plan to meet with your advisor at the beginning of your program to plan your course sequencing. Off-campus students have a set sequence of courses, but may contact their advisor for other program advising. View academic advisor profiles.
Faculty mentors work with students regarding career and
professional issues, and offer academic support and guidance. You will
be assigned a faculty mentor during the first semester of your program,
through either email (on-campus and online students) or your program
schedule (off-campus students). View list of faculty profiles.
