Art Therapy
Applicants must submit a minimum of 15 – 20 slides, or digital copy, of their art work along with their application. The slides should represent a variety of media, including two- and three-dimensional work, self-expression, and a range of technical abilities. (Website URLs are not an acceptable format for the portfolio submission.)
Clinical Mental Health Specialization (intermodal) and 48 cr. Expressive Therapies (Non-Licensable)
Applicants must submit an example of their creative expression as part of their application.
Possible samples of creative expression might include visual or performance-based artwork documented via CD/DVD/zip drive or a creative writing submission. Feel free to contact your admissions counselor with alternative ideas.
Dance Therapy
Applicants should have extensive dance experience, including modern dance. Applicants should submit a CD/DVD with 3-5 minutes of dance footage cued to the section that you want us to view. A website link may also be submitted in place of a CD/DVD.
Drama Therapy
Applicants should have experience with improvisation, performance and/or applied theatre.
Music Therapy
Applicants should have extensive music experience and be prepared to audition as part of the interview process. Applicants may audition on any instrument.
