Teacher of Visual Art Portfolio Requirements
Applicants to the Teacher of Visual Art program must submit a portfolio of twenty (20) images of recent work with representative examples of different art media in advance of the admissions interview.
In addition, all applicants should provide a chronological outline of their background in the arts, accompanied by a summary verifying completion of at least 18 semester hour credits of undergraduate studio art and six semester hour credits of art history.
The portfolio may be presented on CD (Macintosh only) or 35mm slides. Video, film, or performance work should be submitted on a Macintosh CD. Submissions of video, film, or performance work should not exceed ten minutes in length (the Admissions Committee will view only the first ten minutes).
Note: Please provide duplicate CDs or slides of your work. The University retains the portfolio after the admissions interview.
