Lower Level Renovation, University Hall
The lower level of University Hall, below the Barnes and Noble bookstore, will be renovated to provide new art studios and classrooms. Demolition of existing walls will commence in March 2012. The newly renovated art making space will be open before Fall 2012, as a companion to the forthcoming Art Institute of Boston building across Roseland Street (see description above).
Elevator Upgrades, University Hall
Upgrades to elevators in University Hall will be conducted in a staggered fashion to avoid interruption in service. Both elevators will be in operation by September.
