Endorsement Earned Through Institutional Recommendation
An educator may obtain a Wyoming endorsement in the areas listed below by successfully completing the corresponding Lesley program and following the steps detailed above. Applicants should submit to the Wyoming teacher licensing office the completed Institutional Recommendation form, official transcripts, and application.
Middle Level Math: A student must complete the full M.Ed. Mathematics in Education program.
Middle Level Science: A student must complete the full M.Ed. Science in Education program.
English as a Second Language: A student must complete the full 18-credit TESOL program.
Special Education Generalist: A student must complete the full 24-credit Special Education program. The endorsement will be for the grade range(s) for which the educator is already certified.
Please note: it is important that students interested in earning an endorsement through Lesley programs contact the Wyoming Professional Teaching Standards Board prior to registration to ensure that you are informed of the certification requirements needed to receive an endorsement.
AUTHORIZATION AND EDUCATOR LICENSURE IN WYOMING
Authorization: Lesley University is authorized to offer programs in Wyoming based on the following process: The Wyoming Department of Education has registered Lesley University to operate in this state based on the Private Schools Licensing Act, WYO. STAT. 21-2-401 et seq.
