The direction in early childhood education is to require all teachers to hold a Bachelor’s degree. Our Early Childhood Studies program responds to this need by offering the necessary childhood studies courses in a format that accommodates working teachers.
Specialize in one of four areas:
You'll need 120 credits to complete your bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Studies. You may transfer in up to 90 credits, and 45 of the credits can be from prior learning, as determined by the Prior Learning Assessment. Review the number of credits you'll need in general education requirement courses, specialization courses, and electives.
