The current direction in early childhood education is to require all early childhood teachers to hold a Bachelor’s degree. Lesley University’s Early Childhood Studies program is designed to respond to this need by offering the necessary childhood studies courses in a format that accommodates working teachers.
Students may choose one of four specializations:
- Infants and Toddlers
- Children with Special Needs
- Preschool Children
- Integrated Teaching Through the Arts
Degree Completion for Adult Learners
Offered through Lesley’s Center for the Adult Learner, this program provides access to Lesley University’s broad array of academic resources combined with a personalized approach to degree completion.
- Continue working as your complete your degree
- Apply up to 90 transfer credits towards your Lesley degree
- Earn college credit for previous work and life experience
- Access Lesley’s high quality course offerings and faculty
