Registration and Welcome
3:00pm – 6:00pm|McKenna Student Center, 1st Floor, Doble Campus
Check in for the weekend’s events, and meet the Student Activities Staff & members of the Alumni Council. Pick up tickets, maps, directions, shuttle schedule and other helpful information for the weekend. If you arrive on campus after 6:00pm please note that you may pick up your registration materials until 10:00pm at the Student Center Information Desk.
The Massachusetts Avenue Storefront Art Project
Ongoing September 16 - October 13| Massachusetts Avenue between Everett Street and Porter Square
Lesley University's Art Institute of Boston is sponsoring a public art project in the storefront windows of 17 retail stores and institutions along Massachusetts Avenue in Porter Square to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of AIB. From September 16 to October 13 works created by more than 50 AIB students, alumni, faculty and staff, chosen through a competitive process, will be on display in the windows of Massachusetts Avenue businesses for public viewing, creating a truly open gallery in the midst of this vibrant neighborhood that is home to Lesley University

Comedian & Mentalist- Sean Bott

Comedy Mentalist Sean Bott grew-up in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where inhaling desert-dust and scorching-heat has severely warped his brain. Consequently, he has entertained and enthralled audiences worldwide with his innovative and distinctive comedy. The L.A. Times described Sean as “a crazy mix between Jack Black and Criss Angel. Amazing!”

Community Conversation: Election 2012

Join faculty and academic leadership for an engaging conversation about the 2012 Presidential Election and the impact on today’s students and families. Moderated by Dean Mary Coleman, panelists include: Bryan Brophy-Baermann - Social Sciences, Nancy Heims - Social Sciences, and Brandon Strathmann - Animation will be discussing aspects of the election that are reflected in their areas of academic discipline.

This fun and informative tour provides fans and visitors with a behind-the-scenes look at America’s most beloved ballpark. Previous registration is required. A group will depart by bus from the corner of Massachusetts Avenue and Mellen Street. If you’ll be getting to the park on your own, please meet at the Souvenir Shop on Yawkey Way by 11:15am.
Sherrill Library Tours

Families are invited to join library staff for a guided walk through the Sherrill Library space on our Brattle Campus.
AIB Gallery Showing: In Depth: An Exhibition of Contemporary Letterpress

9:00am-5:00pm|Main Gallery Hours
An exhibition of books, broadsides, and ephemera by letterpress printing studios in Massachusetts. Curated by Bonnell Robinson, the show will include selected classic works from the history of printing, highlights from work by designers and printers, and collaborative projects by artists, book artists, and printers. The intent is to show the diversity, invention, and innovation of contemporary letterpress.
Family and Friends BINGO!

Join the Campus Activities Board (CAB) in a Lesley University student tradition - BINGO! The numbers will be called starting at 4:00pm so make sure you get there early for a good seat to win some great prizes.

Performing Arts Expo
6:30pm & 8:30pm|Marran Theatre, Doble Campus
Join the Lesley University Dance Team, The Lesley Performing Arts Club and Lesley’s a cappella group Harmogeddon in Marran Theatre for a night of fun and excitement. The Dance Team will be choreographing some of your favorite Hollywood numbers, LPAC will be showing off one of their one-act plays, and Harmogeddon will sing you their renditions of music’s most popular songs.
Family and Friends Weekend Reception
7:30pm – 8:30pm| McKenna Student Center, 1st Floor, Doble Campus
Join staff, faculty and the Alumni Council for a reception between shows of the Performing Arts Expo. Light refreshments will be served.

Jazz Brunch*
10:00am & 11:45am|Washburn Hall, Brattle Campus (previous registration required)
Enjoy a leisurely brunch, complete with carving station and omelet bar, while listening to the relaxing sounds of Miss Tess and the Bon Ton Parade. Please check your ticket for your seating time. Families who have not picked up a previously purchased brunch ticket, can do so at the door. Resident Students should bring their ID with them in order to swipe.
