Teachers who hold a valid Connecticut teaching certificate within the endorsements areas linked below may cross endorse among these same endorsement areas provided that they complete appropriate Praxis II Subject-Knowledge Tests and course work requirements from a regionally accredited institution.

Endorsement Earned Through Direct Application
Lesley University may help you obtain the endorsement in the area listed below by successfully completing a corresponding Lesley program. Applicants should submit for review all official transcripts, evidence of successful completion of testing requirements, and application to the Connecticut State Department of Education.
TESOL endorsement - A student must complete the full 18-credit TESOL program.
Please note it is important that students interested in earning an endorsement through Lesley programs contact the Connecticut State Department of Education prior to registration to ensure that you are informed of the certification requirements needed to receive an endorsement.
Authorization and Educator Certification in Connecticut
Authorization: Lesley University is not required to seek authorization to operate in Connecticut based on Lesley's current activity within this state, as determined by the Connecticut Department of Higher Education.
