their academic record, and can significantly lower the cost of your education.
Our undergraduate merit scholarships and community scholarships are available to
students applying for

Students who have attended the Young
Artists Residency Program, or attended three or more Pre-College classes
at Lesley University, receive a one-time $1,000 scholarship award upon enrollment in addition to any guaranteed undergraduate merit scholarships (if eligible).
In addition to a guaranteed merit scholarship, exceptional students interested in art, design, or education will be considered for one of these two awards.
Applicants to the College of Art and Design will be considered for an additional $2,000 award, which could be renewed each year.
Applicants interested in becoming an Education major will be considered for an additional $2,000 award, which could be renewed each year.
To ensure equitable merit scholarship decisions, the Undergraduate
Admissions Office recalculates high school grade point averages (GPA)
for all freshman applicants. We use an un-weighted 4.0 scale (or a numerical scale with a passing grade of 60)
Only final full-year, first marking period, and semester
grades available at the time of the admission decision, from academic
course work beginning with grade nine through senior year, are
considered. Certain courses, including but not limited to physical
education, culinary arts, music, computer science, and health, are not
considered in this recalculation.
The GPA provided by your
high school may not be the same as your recalculated GPA. Please contact the Admissions Office if:
All scholarships/awards listed above are renewable for the four years

provided you maintain full-time enrollment of at least 12 credits per
semester and remain in good academic standing as defined by the
College's academic catalog. Recipients of the Presidential and Dean's
Scholarships must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0.
Students who did not receive one of the above merit scholarships may be eligible for one of our three community scholarships.
Up to two, full, four-year tuition scholarships are awarded to
graduates of the Massachusetts Cambridge Rindge and Latin School.
Recipients may enroll in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences or the College of Art and Design.

Organizations participating in this partnership include Bottom Line, Breakthrough Greater Boston, College Career Fund of Westchester, Inc., Let's Get Ready, Stepping Stone Academy, Today's Students Tomorrow's Teachers, and KIPP Academy.

Massachusetts cities of Boston, Brockton, Cambridge, Chelsea, Lawrence,
Lowell, Lynn, Quincy, Somerville, Springfield, or Worcester who will
enter Lesley immediately upon graduation are eligible for a $5,000 scholarship award.
We guarantee that you, as a transfer applicant, are awarded a merit scholarship if
you are accepted for admission and meet the following criteria. These scholarships and awards are available to transfer
students who are applying for
admission for Fall 2015 and Spring 2016 in the College of Art and Design or the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
