Scholarships are awarded to incoming students based on the strength of
their academic record, and can significantly lower the cost of your education.
Our undergraduate merit scholarships and community scholarships can be applied toward the cost of tuition.

In addition to our guaranteed merit awards, all first-year students are considered for the following scholarships, renewable each year unless otherwise noted.
Students who have attended the Young
Artists Residency Program, or attended three or more Pre-College classes
at Lesley University, receive a one-time $1,000 scholarship award upon enrollment in addition to any guaranteed undergraduate merit scholarships (if eligible).
Exceptional applicants to the College of Art and Design will be considered for an additional $2,000 award, which could be renewed each year.
Exceptional applicants interested in becoming an Education major will be considered for an additional $2,000 award, which could be renewed each year.
Students with a strong academic record may receive an additional $1,000 scholarship in honor of our founder.
Students from community organizations partnered with Lesley University through the Urban Scholars Initiative (USI) may be eligible for a scholarship award equivalent to 50% of yearly tuition.
Students graduating from a charter or public high school in the
Massachusetts cities of Boston, Brockton, Cambridge, Chelsea, Lawrence,
Lowell, Lynn, Quincy, Somerville, Springfield, or Worcester who will
enter Lesley immediately upon graduation are eligible for a $5,000 scholarship award.
Up to two, full, four-year tuition scholarships are awarded to
graduates of the Massachusetts Cambridge Rindge and Latin School.
One full, four-year tuition scholarship is awarded to a graduate of the Boston Arts Academy (Visual Arts).
All scholarships/awards listed above are renewable for the four years
you attend Lesley University,
provided you maintain full-time enrollment of at least 12 credits per
semester and remain in good academic standing as defined by the
College's academic catalog. Recipients of the Presidential and Dean's
Scholarships must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0.
We guarantee that you, as a transfer applicant, are awarded a merit scholarship if
you are accepted for admission and meet the following criteria. These scholarships and awards are available to transfer
students who are applying for
admission for Fall 2017 and Spring 2018.
Community College Scholarship
$5,500 per year
Many Lesley students find a master's degree a necessary professional
credential. For those who choose to continue their graduate studies
at Lesley University immediately following graduation, the Lesley Dividend provides tremendous
assistance. Qualified undergraduate students can receive up to 12 free
credits of graduate study in one of Lesley's on-campus master's
programs! To qualify, you must have a minimum cumulative grade point
average of 3.6 upon completion of your undergraduate studies.
