Orientation is a comprehensive program for new undergraduate and transfer students that is designed to make your transition to Lesley University comfortable and enjoyable.

New Student Check-in on campus is Sunday, September 4, 2016. You should plan to arrive on campus during the following times:Resident Student's Last Names beginning with A-G: 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.Resident Student's Last Names beginning with H-O: 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.Resident Student's Last Names beginning with P-Z: 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.All Commuter Students: 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.
All resident students, regardless of room assignment, should report to the parking lot located at the rear of University Hall at 1815 Massachusetts Avenue based on the times noted above.
Once you check in and receive your room keys, you will be directed to the unloading area for your residence hall. Orientation staff members will assist with the unloading of your vehicle. From that point, the driver of your car will be directed to a nearby parking lot.
Commuter Students: Commuter students should report to the parking lot located at the rear of the Porter Exchange Building at 1815 Massachusetts Avenue between 12:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. for New Student Check-in. Once you check-in, you will be given directions to a parking area for the day.
Welcome Week and Community Connections: Sunday afternoon, September 4th, will mark the start of Welcome Week for all new students. This program allows you the opportunity to settle into campus, meet new people, and explore Cambridge and Boston before classes begin.
An important campus event is the New Student Convocation held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 4, 2016. All new students and their families are encouraged to attend this program, as it marks the official start to the academic year at Lesley University. The ceremony will take place under the tent on the Doble Campus.
On Tuesday, September 6th, as part of Welcome Week 2016, all new students are strongly encouraged to participate in Community Connections, an important facet of our Welcome Week 2016 program. These activities represent a long-standing tradition at Lesley University and showcase the larger Cambridge and Boston communities. Use this link to register for Community Connections.
