Opening of Residence Halls

New Students

The residence halls will open for all new students on Sunday, September 4, 2016 at 8:30 am. Before going to your assigned residence hall, complete the check-in process on the third floor of University Hall, 1815 Massachusetts Avenue. You will check in with student accounts, receive your University Handbook, your University identification, and your room key.
It is recommended that you check-in during the following times, based on the first initial of your last name.

  •  A-G - 8:30 am–10:30 am
  •  H-O - 10:30 am–12:30 pm
  •  P-Z - 12:30 pm–2:00 pm

This is only a recommendation and if that time block is not convenient, you may arrive at a different block.

Returning Students

Check in on Monday, September 5, 2016 from 10:00 am–3:00 pm or on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 from 10:00 am–2:00 pm. Both returning student check-ins will be at the Student Center.
