Each student is assigned a faculty advisor to assist with career and professional issues.
Students are assigned a faculty advisor during the first semester of their program, who can offer academic support and guidance and work with students on career and professional issues. On-campus and online students are emailed a letter that states the names and contact information of their faculty advisor and assistant director; off-campus students receive a program schedule from their cohort liaison, with this information at the top. Educational Studies PhD students are notified of their senior advisor prior to the start of their first semester. All students may also access their advisor's name by logging onto the Lesley Online Information System (LOIS) student page, choosing Academic Profile, and clicking "personal and academic profile."
