Tomorrow's Leaders
College is the perfect time to enhance your leadership skills. There are several opportunities available to students who wish to develop in this area.
Emerging Leaders Program (EL)
This program is designed for first-year and second-year students who have been identified as potential student leaders on campus. This program is directed at the development of leadership skills, discovery of self and community building.
Undergraduate Student Government (USG)
Student Government is the representative body for all undergraduate students of Lesley University (AIB and LC). USG works to ensure that the needs of the student body are being met on campus. It acts as the liaison for all students with faculty, administration and trustees of the University.
Campus Activities Board (CAB)
Campus Activities Board plans programming throughout the academic year. From choosing the films for our weekly movie series to booking musicians and comedians, catching a Red Sox game to planning our annual QuadFest Celebration, CAB brings fun and excitement to campus.
Orientation Leaders Program (OL)
Undergraduate Orientation is your first experience as an official member of the Lesley community. Orientation Leaders are instrumental in easing the transition for new students. Not only do OLs provide valuable information, but together they create a program that is the foundation of your college experience.
Leadership Workshop Series
The Leadership Workshop Series provides further leadership training for our Student Clubs and Organizations. Each semester, four relevant topic areas are presented. Past topics have included: Marketing/Advertising, Budgeting, Programming 101, etc. As an incentive to attend, any club or organization that sends a representative to all four workshops will receive a $300 co-sponsorship from the OSA for an on-campus event.
Annual Leadership Awards Banquet
Student Leaders are recognized for their dedication to the Lesley University community at our Annual Leadership Awards Banquet. In addition to recognizing the hard work of many individuals, a Student Organization of the Year Award and a Student Leader of the Year Award are presented.
