Lesley offers a large number of programs popular with veterans including education, counseling, expressive therapies, and environmental science, along with many programs in the arts. Coursework can be completed on campus in Cambridge, online, and through Lesley's partnership with Tacoma Community College in Washington state.
Who is eligible?
- Under the benefits established by the new Post-9/11 GI bill, veterans who served at least 90 days active duty after September 11, 2001 may be eligible to receive tuition benefits
- Veterans who served at least 36 months since September 11, 2001 may qualify for free tuition, via scholarship dollars provided by Lesley, through the Yellow Ribbon program
- Free tuition may also be available to veterans who served at least 30 continuous days after September 11, 2001 and were honorably discharged for a service-related injury
- Dependents eligible for Transfer of Entitlement under the Post-9/11 GI Bill based on the veteran's service and the eligibility criteria listed above
Are additional funds available?
Yellow Ribbon funds, which have been available since August 1, 2009, may be supplemented by the U.S. Department of Veterans affairs with the addition of a housing allowance and a stipend for books and supplies for eligible veterans.
