Gain the knowledge and skills you need in order to establish effective helping relationships.
Lesley University’s 12-credit certificate program in Counseling and Psychology for Educators, Clergy, Managers, and Health and Human Services Professionals is designed for professionals who wish to gain a foundational understanding of counseling and psychology so that they can improve relationships with clients, students, patients, or colleagues.
Unlike standard continuing education programs in psychology, Lesley University’s Counseling Psychology certificate programs offer the quality and depth of a graduate-level program. Students enrolled in this program will take most of their courses with students pursuing Master's degree programs. Students who subsequently apply to and are accepted into a Master's degree program within the Division of Counseling and Psychology may apply credits earned in courses taken in this certificate program into the degree program.
