Gain the knowledge and skills you need in order to establish effective helping relationships.
This 12-credit certificate program is designed for professionals who wish to gain a foundational understanding of counseling and psychology so that they can improve relationships with clients, students, patients, or colleagues.
Unlike standard continuing education programs in psychology, our Counseling Psychology certificate programs offer the quality and depth of a graduate-level program. You'll take most of your courses with students pursuing Master's degree programs. If you and are accepted into a Master's degree program within the Division of Counseling and Psychology, you may apply credits earned in this certificate program into the degree program.
