A Message from Stan Trecker, Dean of the College of Art and Design
delighted to announce this is the first in a series of newsletters specifically

change is especially personal, as well. This spring I become Dean Emeritus,
essentially an ambassador of the fine work our art college has undertaken over

So, as you
read this first newsletter and subsequent ones, you’re bearing witness to a
crucial and historic time at the College of Art and Design. A new name, a whole
new art-making facility, and new academic programs are just the start of what
promises to be exciting growth, visibility and recognition for decades to come.
