Presented annually, the Lesley University Alumni Awards recognize alumni who have made outstanding contributions to the advancement of the university through service to Lesley, the community, and/or their profession.
THE MARGARET A. MCKENNA ALUMNI COMMUNITY SERVICE AWARDhonors an alumna/us for volunteer service in the areas of education, human services, management or arts organizations outside of the scope of their professional employment or business affiliations. Criteria include scope of impact on others, length of service, number of organizations served, or serving as an elected official.THE SALLY K. LENHARDT PROFESSIONAL LEADERSHIP AWARDhonors an alumna/us for leadership in education, human services, management, or the arts. Criteria include professional affiliations, publications, awards or recommendations.THE MYRTLE PEIRCE AULENBACK ALUMNI ACHIEVEMENT AWARDrecognizes a Lesley alumna/us for their unwavering and steadfast support of Lesley University, years of dedication, leadership and loyalty, their wide scope of impact on the Lesley community, and their commitment to serving as an active volunteer.THE RECENT ALUMNI AWARDrecognizes established and future leaders among Lesley University's recent alumni defined as those who have received their initial degree from Lesley University within the last ten years. Criteria include demonstrated leadership capability, substantial indication of a commitment to the service of others, demonstration of potential leadership/distinction in the long term, the ability to inspire and challenge today's current students, or substantial commitment to Lesley University and its mission.
