Move your career forward with confidence with one of our Professional licensure or professional development degree or certificate programs.
If you are looking for a career move or more advanced teaching expertise, our Master's degree and certificates leading to Professional licensure and non-licensure professional development programs offer the latest in assessment, pedagogical skills, technology, curriculum
development, and content knowledge. Dedicated faculty and small classrooms—whether online or face to face—offer you the best learning experience possible. If you already hold a Master's degree and an Initial license in Massachusetts, you may also consider the twelve-credit post-Master's option for professional license.
Program areas offering Initial Licensure that can move an Early Childhood, Elementary, English as a Second Language, or Special Education Initial license to the Professional level.
For those who already hold a Master's degree and an Initial Massachusetts license, 12 credits of graduate coursework in the subject matter knowledge of the Initial license can be used to meet part of the requirements for the Professional license in that field. See our Twelve-Credit Post-Master's Option page for more information.
