Music Minor

The Music minor provides students with an historical, theoretical and practical background in music and music performance.

The Music minor allows students to develop their skills at performance -- voice and piano -- and to better understand music as an expressive art form as it has developed over time in different traditions.
  

Featured Courses

CPMUS 2345 Concert Choir: 

This course includes preparation of significant and representative choral works.  Music fundamentals (theory) are included in the course.

CMUSC 3339 World Music Folk and Popular:

Characteristic music of various cultures is presented. Selections include examples from Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Africa.
