Are you considering an online course or program but are uncertain about your abilities to succeed in an online environment? If so, please take a few minutes to participate in this readiness survey. The survey is designed to provide you with a general sense of your readiness to participate in online or computer-mediated education by assessing your technical abilities, study habits, communications skills, and learning styles.Please complete each of the four sections of the readiness survey below to benchmark your readiness to participate in online courses at Lesley University. While consistently high scores do not assure success in online learning, consistently low scores should not dissuade you. Low scores may indicate not that you are not suited for online learning, but that you are not yet completely ready. Point scale: award yourself the following points when answering individual questions in each of the four sections of the questionnaire, and then compare that section’s total points to the rubric.

score is indicative of your preferred method of learning (visual,
auditory, interpersonal, etc). While there is no right or wrong way to
learn, some styles are more conducive to what can be expected from
online learning experiences.
