Dr. Cappiello coordinates the collaborative internship teacher residency programs, and is associate professor in the language and literacy division.

Cappiello and Dawes Nominated for Award

Mary Ann Cappiello and Erika Thulin Dawes were recently nominated by the Association of American Publishers for their Revere Award, which recognizes valuable educational resources. AAP calls the award "the most prestigious and comprehensive recognition program in the learning resource community." Their nomination is in the Curriculum, Instruction, and Classroom Practice category, and is for their "Teaching with Text Sets," published by TCM/Shell Education.

Lesley Faculty Present Workshop for Educators at Eric Carle Museum

On March 23, 2014, Literacy faculty members Mary Ann Cappiello, Erika Thulin Dawes, and Grace Enriquez will be running a workshop for teachers, librarians, and other educators with the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators at the Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art.
