Fun Facts:
Besides my adjunct teaching and curriculum writing, I spend much of my
time at a local pottery studio where I have fallen in love with
handbuilding. It is a luxury to work in a community of twenty other
potters whose creativity and support has made the studio another home.
Teaching is my favorite professional and personal activity. I have never left a class in the last 25 years in which I didn’t learn from my students and the process of trying to create a positive learning environment. The longer I do this work, the more I love questions and the doors they open. Over the last 3 years, I have begun to teach online, a new venture offering the opportunity to learn creative ways to connect with students.
