Fun Facts: Attended every graduation since 1970; Received a Lesley U. Impact Award in 2000; Granted my first and only sabbatical in the fall of 2011; Served as Exhibitions Director, Dean of Admissions, Dean of Students, Dean of Academic Affairs and AIB Interim Dean; For several years room 411 at 700 Beacon had a sign outside the door identifying it as “Angelo’s Pizza.”
My teaching philosophy is to create an open environment in which students can grow intellectually and emotionally, so they can learn both the technical skills and the conceptual understanding that will contribute to their development both as artists and as good citizens.
