Exhibitions and Publications:
I believe it is important for an artist to be informed, opinionated and critical, humane and philosophical, to know history and to guess at the future in order to produce meaningful visual communication. My objective is to help students discover where and how their own art relates within political, social and historical contexts. It is my goal to help students become critical thinkers, inspired and articulate about their ideas, develop concepts, and shape their vision in any medium, discipline or technological platform. I provide the tools, techniques, parameters and enthusiasm for applied and fine art and let the students pick it up from there and express themselves freely.
