Dr. Roberts founded the Technology in Education program at Lesley, helps support new teachers through the New Teacher Community, and is Professor Emerita in the Graduate School of Education.

Nancy Roberts, who retired and became professor emerita in late 2015, taught at Lesley University since 1975. In 1979, she founded the graduate program in Technology in Education, to introduce the use of computers to K-12 students and teachers. She was involved in a dozen National Science Foundation and U.S. Department of Education grants as principal investigator, as well as in a statewide Title II initiative to improve teacher education through collaboration with urban schools and communities.
